Happy to announce that I’m now a contributor for SkyStock, a new Australian-based stock photography site created specifically for aerial photography/videography! I already have a few photos approved and published on the site, with several more in the editing pipeline.
Being airborne enables us to see unique perspectives of the amazing world around us, and as my various works take me around South East QLD, I hope to be able to share many more wonderful aerial views, and hopefully some from further afield if I get the opportunity to travel again.
Started flying in early 2006, and flying jets since the end of 2008. Just under 10 years on the Airbus A330, and was flying the A380 since Christmas 2018 until this virus mess.
Into just about everything aviation/space related!
Got my CASA RePL (Remote Pilot Licence) in October 2020, and am operating the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Mini 2 for aerial photography around South East Queensland.
Currently stood down indefinitely from flying work due to the COVID-19-related economic catastrophe. Doing some odd-jobs on the internet to keep up some cashflow, and have started work in a bottleshop. Studying iOS (Swift) development online through RMIT to get a formal credential in the field, and have started a Data Analytics online course.
